today the finding of a minutemen dvd, reminded me of how great they were, how i missed them when they were around, how i miss them and him (d boon) now that they/he are/isn't around anymore. what they stood for, for me, still goes every little bit, as mike watt put it "start your own band, paint your own picture, write your own book." every kid needs to listen to "double nickles on the dime" and realize this is all it is about, living.
